Proxy error with salesforce connection

Hi, I use a tSetProxy and a tSalesforceConnection components to connect to Salesforce via a Proxy.
in the tSetProxy, the proxy type was Proxy Http. I defined a UserA and a password for the authentification.
In the tSalesforceConnection, I did not select "use a Proxy Socks"

I did a first test with a proxy that asks for authentification and got an error 407 'Proxy authentification required' => it seems the information for the authentification in the tSetProxy were not retrieved.
I did a second test with a proxy that does not ask for authentification. It works but in the proxy server log, I see my user name and note UserA in the access trace to the proxy server. Once again, it seems that the information in the tSetProxy were not used.

Last question (but not least) : I defined http in the proxy type of the tSetProxy because if I select https, I don't have any more the fields Proxy user and Proxy Password.   => is it OK to use proxy http when the connections to Salesforce are done with https ?

Hi,
Everything seems to be ok with your configuration. Can you share your job + tSetProxy config + tSalesforceConnection config?
For your 2nd question, just use http instead of https.
