SFDC Salesforce connection error

Hi all,

 

I have a problem that's blocking me,
I just installed talend version 7.0.1 on ubuntu and when I try to run the job, I get a connection error.
the error message is:

 

Starting job TestAccount_Copy at 09:29 23/05/2018.

java.lang.RuntimeException: IOException: com.sforce.ws.ConnectionException: Failed to send request to https://login.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/42.0 at Test.testaccount_copy_0_1.testAccount_Copy.tSalesforceConnection_1Process(TestAccount_Copy.java:527)

I just to try now with browser and i can to connect to salesforce from ubuntu and always mo with talend

@elioueg,make sure the credentials like URL,password,username,security Token.

i m sure it is OK because i use same configuration with windows and it work

Can you check same java settup you do have in Windows and Ubuntu systems.

@elioueg,if you still have issue,can you tick "Use specific JVM arguments in Advanced settings of Run tab and Build your job. this should fix your issue.

I am getting the same exact error. 

- Fresh install of Talend Open Studio

- Update to the latest java version

- Create a new SF connection, enter working credentials

- Press 'test connection'

- Getting the afore mentioned error.

 

 

Just for fun, I tried the same in version 6.5.1. I picked a working project and created a new connection. To my surprise, I got the same error 0683p000009MPcz.png I am starting to believe this might be a java 1.8 related issue

Any proxy to configure before to run the test?

Thank you for your reply, I solved m y problem.

I have changed the server version and it works.

I have been ubuntu version and now i have change, i set  "centos"
