Talend 6.4.1 unable to start application

Hi experts

 

I have got talend 6.4.1 on server and I noticed that Java got updated to java 8 update 191 (64-bit). Not sure if this caused the problem but it doesnt seem to start the application at all and from Services.msc manually trying to start the service for TAC 6.4.1 and it tells me to review the system event log.

When I got to system event log it tells me incorrect function. And it would not start Talend app. Is there anything I can do to resolve this problem?

Hello,

Could you please let us know what's OS you are using? We will appreciate it if you could post the error information in system event log on forum.

I am using Win server 2016 64-bit one.

 

Showing me text like this in system event log.

Also I forgot Java JRE got updated to 1.8.0.191 from 1.8.0.131.

Hi Sabrina

 

I got this one resolved by installing older version of JRE which was 1.8.0.131. I have got another issue here. When I click on job conductor if keeps hovering on refresh and not showing me list of jobs.

Even though there are many jobs here I cannot see list. 

 

Do you know anything I should be checking for this?

Have you tried to connect again to see if it works?(try another browser)

Is there any error message in tac log?

With your subscription solution, could you please create a case on talend support portal so that we could give you a remote assistance(webex session) through support cycle with priority?
