The JDBC driver for AS400 in TOS 7.x (and 8.x) is quite old

How can I upgrade to a newer JDBC driver for TOS 7.x?

The version used by 7,x is jtOpen v9.8. That is the one that corresponds with IBM i 7.1 which is over 10 years old.

I have seen some things, on how to upgrade a JDBC driver in TOS, but they are old versions, and don't appear to apply to TOS v7.x. Is there a more recent tutorial or something?

You can upgrade the AS400 jdbc driver to another version in Talend Modules view
