According to Wikipedia, Talend means open source data integration.They are software vendor.

I guess it is a combination of 'talent' and 'data', with the last letter of the former being replaced with the first letter of the latter. Because Talend is from France, I think the pronunciation should be something like Tal-on, with a silent n at the end. Just my 2 cents or centimes for that matter.
