Unable to convert between net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.ClobImpl and BOOLEAN.

Our database was recently updated from Mysql5-Mysql8 and with that we started seeing some failures.

We are reading from multiple databases and inserting that information into our mysql8 db, for some reason we now see this issue:

Unable to convert between net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.ClobImpl and BOOLEAN.

has anyone seen this or any possible solutions to fix this failure? I am checking google to see how to fix this issue but it isn't working 😕
