Unable to see remote Target Exec option in Talend Studio 7.x

Hi,

I have a created a sample job in Talend studio which runs fine locally. Now, I want to run this job on a remote job server so when I a go to "Target Exec" on Run tab, I do not get an option to configure remote job server. Can someone guide me on configuring the remote execution environment in Talend studio?

Hi Tej,

      Could you please try to switch Project or workspace (under file tab of Studio) to come out of current setup? Once you reach below screen, click manage connections button.

Once you are inside, follow the instructions specified in this below link.

Hi,

I was looking for a remote execution server to be configred i.e a remote job server. I was able to figure out this from the preferences and its is now working.

Please find the solution for adding remote server for local projects. 

• For a local project, set the remote JobServer details in the Preferences > Talend > Run/Debug > Remote window of Talend Studio.

I have a weird issue. I go to Preferences > Talend > Run/Debug > Remote window of Talend Studio and "+" button is greyed out

I dont know if I need to check any other option

same problem here, it is something with right management as I can see all servers with my admin user with all rights
