Hi,
I am new to Talend, need help to exclude unused module/.jar files from build files.
Below are two options which I tried
1. Deleted derby folder from <InstalledTalendDirectory>\configuration\.m2\repository\org\talend\libraries\. When I build the job, the folder and files are recreated.
2. In "Modules" view, I could see plugin is installed, I dont see any option to uncheck/uninstall
Understand that Talend is a code generator, I need to remove unused jar(eg derby.jar) from build due to below reasons.
1. In production we want to promote a skinned version of build files
2. I am not using derby component in my code
3. The unused jars are reported as vulnerable in security scan.
Any help will be great
Thanks
Hello,
Are you using open source or subscription solution? Is it a local project without Nexus shared libraries?
Best regards
Sabrina
Hi Sabrina,
Thanks for your reply.
We are using subscription solution and project is with Nexus shared libraries.
Hello,
As Studio will download this jar for each build, you need to delete the artifact folder (JAR, POM, and other files).
With your subscription solution, could you please create a support case on talend support portal so that we could give you a remote assistance through support cycle with priority.
Best regards
Sabrina
