Hi,

     Installing a software based on OS is not a right option. You need to use the OS which is recommended for the latest version of an enterprise software.

     For Talend 7.1, below link depicts the list of recommended and supported OS.

I was looking to install Talend open studio for Big data on centos 7.4

I should be able work on Talend open studio o linux server if I have X11 forwarding ..

Hi,

       My suggestion will be to always go by recommended OS specified in the Talend installation document. It will always avoid lot of hiccups during later stages of the project.
