Working with SAP Hana 2.x

I am trying to replicate data between one HANA v2.x system to another on Talend v6.5. I don't see any option for HANA v2.x; instead i tried using General JDBC with ngdbc driver, but jobs are failing. I also dont see any component named tSAPHanaInput/Output in Pallete. How to download this component? Also how to run jobs with HANA v2.x? Any help or leads would be appreciated.

Hi,

    I could see that SAP Hana 2.0 is not available for Talend 7.1.1

But I could see that the availability will be there in next versions of Talend. Please refer the JIRA ticket for the details.

So if you are using SAP Hana 2.0 for an older version, you will have to do it in programmatic way using Java components of Talend.

Hi Nikhil,

I upgraded to Talend 7.2.1-M3; here while adding HANA Database it doesn't mention HANA version which is fine; I am able to add DB successfully.

But when I use tDBInput or tJDBCInput and try to select DB type as SAPHana; there is no such option to select HANA. Also, after selecting DB type as JDBC, I cant add my DB from Repo.

Any leads on this?

     I am using version 7.1 in my laptop but I am able to see the version as shown in below screen shot.

Could you please share the screenshots of the component and job so that we will get better idea about your use case?

    If you are using an enterprise version of Talend, could you please create a support case for this query since it is a future version you are looking? They will check with Product team and update you the latest about it.

    If you are using the free version of Talend, could you please create a JIRA ticket? Please also mention the earlier JIRA ticket which you had referred while raising the query.
