how to pass the DateTime from Context variable

Hi,
Need help on how to pass DateTime from context variable. i have tried to create one variable and given value as expression(TalendDate.getDate("ddMMyyyyHHmmss")) to get current date, but it returning null value.
In my scenario, i want to pass the same Date Time in all sub jobs.
