how to run a talend job from eclipse

Hi Guys,

 

How can we run a Talend job from external application like eclipse, i have gone through this site

but i need little more understanding.

Hi,

 

    If you are using subscription product of Talend, the best way is to use TAC. If you are using open source version, you can export the jobs as standalone job. If you have selected Unix Shell launcher, you can use it for running your job in Linux.

Please make sure that you have Java installed and path variables are correctly set.

    What is your production scenario requirement for your use case? How do you want to run the job? What is the need for you to run the job from eclipse? Could you please share these basic details so that members will get more idea about your use case?

Hi i developed my job in windows and i need to schedule the job in linux environment where there is no Talend open studio installed. can you guide me what is best way to achieve this
