java.sql.SQLException: GC overhead limit exceeded

Hi all,

I am trying to load data from production system to our DWH.

source table has 600.000 rows data.

but I had java.sql.SQLException: GC overhead limit exceeded error.

my computer has 32GB ram and I already increased the heap space.

would you please help me if you have an idea?

Where did you increase the limit? This sounds like either the limit is not set correctly in the job. Please check the "Advanced Settings" and set parameters and let us know. Thanks.

Hi, thank you for your quick response.

I changed the heap space in TOS_DI-win-x86_64.ini file. It didn't solve my problem. but after your answer I increased the heap space in the job/Run/Advanced settings part. it worked, my problem was SOLVED!!!

Hi,

The problem is probably your tMap. Single click on the component and select the Advanced options. Try using a disk cache, you’ll need to give it a working/temp directory.
