tHDFSList || tHDFSProperties Can not create a Path from a null string

I'm getting the following error below when looking to iterate through a directory.
It finds the first file in the directory and lists it then this error below.
Any thoughts on using

tHDFSProperties_2 Can not create a Path from a null string
Exception in component tHDFSProperties_2
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Can not create a Path from a null string
