tHttpRequest - get csv data in compressed format

Hello all,

one question to the community to the behavier of tHttpRequest.

My Source system is able to send the data in a compressed format via http request.

Is Talend able to read the Zip-compressed data by default or will it tell the Server to send via flat.

The difference between flat and compressed is in minimum 2-3 times less data via the network.

Hello,

no, via tHttpRequest the compressed format is unsupported.

We checked it with Xtract and the format is plain only.
