I'm building a job locally on my mac (OS 10.14) and having problems with tRunJob.
For some reason the component isn't allowing me to set the Job to run - I can navigate to the child job I need to call but when I press ok it doesn't save the job in the Job parameter of the component.
I'm running open studio version 7.1.1.20181026_1147.
Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?
everything else works fine - I've built and run pretty complex jobs. I've even taken the job onto a windows server and used Talend there. I can then change the parameter ok...
Did you verify whether there is any lock on the job? Please check it from Studio (green lock on job) or from TAC and it could give you a clue.

There is no lock on the job. I've made changes to it elsewhere in all other components as normal. Even creating a new empty job with the tRunJob added - I still can't configure it.
Did you try to restart the Talend studio and whether the issue persists? Quite strange behavior of Talend!

yeah - its really strange. my way round it at the moment it to export on the mac and import into the windows server installation. I change the tRunJob there, export and then import back to the mac.
Really is odd...its as if something is locked from the original install...
I have the same problem. I can not take a job when using tRunJob. Although I can select one, the field remains empty. I use Mac (10.14.6) and Open Studio 7.1. Does anyone know a solution?
