Column interpret null values differently despite same field tag

Hello,

I have two columns who have the same field tags $ascii$text in the data model, but they are interpreted differently which means that in one case I can have a filter pane where I can research null values (number 1 how looks like the column) and the other I can't research null values (number 2 how looks like the column).

Do you know where it comes from? How to correct my column number 2 in order it becomes like number 1.

Thanks

Hi @Thathayoyo,

I think you are mixing blank with Null values. Those are different things, so you have to adjust them accordingly to your business requirements.

Blank values in Qlik are displayed like a whited empty cell while Null values are represented with dashes (-).

There are many possible solutions to this problem and many topics about this here in the community.
