Connecting to a Data Source

Hello There.

I am new to click and am growing to like it. I am using the free Desktop version at the moment. I have noted that the system takes a bit of time to  connect to a database(depends on other variable  I know). It there a way of hastening the process by probably defining only to upload a small portion of the database and not the whole lot?

By "upload a small portion of the database" i assume you want to load a limited data into Qlik

2 options

1- Depending on your data use a where clause on the sql loads to limit it (by date or something else)

2- Use debug option and use limited load. See below
