Just installed Qlik Sense Desktop succesfully. But don't have the "Create new app" button. Only can access the demo apps! Any idea?

Had the same issue. I am using Windows 10 and QS doesn't display correctly.
One solution I was given was to start the desktop app then open the hub in your browser. Then you can see everything.
Another fix is to add 2 lines to the service.conf file on your desktop. I don't know if this change will be wiped out the next time you upgrade or not. But it works
Add to the browser.parameters section of this file
--high-dpi-support=1
--force-device-scale-factor=1

You are not seeing one of these options when you open Qlik Sense?

Yes that's what I'm missing.

May be reddys310 can offer something here

It seems you are in the "Search" mode. If you are, click "Done" on the top right of the screen, and you should go back to the main hub view. Hope this helps.

Good Luck!

Reinstall didn't help and I don't have a "Done" button to get out of "search" mode.
I'm installing on an Enterprise Amazon Workspace, which is pretty locked down, for testing.
I also tried starting with elevated rights and no luck.
Is there any security setup/lack of privileges that trigger this behavior? I think we need to look for the obvious.

		Hi Stefan,
This does happen when there is a conflict with the app name. Try creating an other app with a different app name.It should work.
Thanks,
Sangram.
