Just installed Qlik Sense Desktop succesfully. But don't have the "Create new app" button. Only can access the demo apps! Any idea?

Do you have access to the Qlik Management Console?
If so, navigate to the QMC ( [domain]/qmc/ ) go to the "Security rules" section, and make sure everything looks in order. The security rule for CreateApp should be set to "!user.IsAnonymous()"
This is the rule that will show or hide the button to create an app for the specified accounts.

		Hi Stefan,
Just resize the window, and it will work. (height and width).

Hi,
I'm having the exact same problem on a desktop installation (windows 10 PRO). I attached the screenshot.
Has anyone figured this out?
I tried contacted support 3 weeks ago and it seemed there was an open case on it, specific to Windows 10 users. I reinstalled 2 days ago hoping it was resolved. Alas still same.
Thanks,
Mariusz

Had the same issue. I am using Windows 10 and QS doesn't display correctly.
One solution I was given was to start the desktop app then open the hub in your browser. Then you can see everything.
Another fix is to add 2 lines to the service.conf file on your desktop. I don't know if this change will be wiped out the next time you upgrade or not. But it works
Add to the browser.parameters section of this file
--high-dpi-support=1
--force-device-scale-factor=1

That worked perfectly! Thank you. Solved.

Great. If you don't mind can you mark my answer as correct. Thanks

The UI is not offering me that option (otherwise I certainly would). Odd. Maybe the moderator can mark it up?
I def. want you to get the credit.

Stefan:
Mark Ritter had the answer on this, would you be able to tag the answer as correct and give him the credit?

I've marked it as correct and thank you @Mark Ritter! Just leaving a comment for future users who see this issue that the services.conf file is located in C:\Users\[yourUserName]\AppData\Local\Programs\Qlik\Sense
Thank you!
