Hi everyone,
I've been working on a custom theme by configuring the theme.json file and adding a theme.css file to my .zip package.
So far, I've had no issues defining both color palettes and scales, and I’ve been able to customize various visual elements (titles, banners, legends, card shapes, table styles, backgrounds, etc.) without problems. However, I’ve encountered an issue: in some visualization elements, my custom palettes disappear from the color selection menu, leaving only a single custom color option available.
This seems to happen when I make extensive modifications through the CSS file. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Thank you !
some visualisations or all of them?
because a comma or a curly/square bracket is lost sooooo fast 🙂
and don't forget you have ui palettes, but also data palettes, and scales
Hi Mikaelsc,
Thanks for your response!
I've looked into it and the issue seems to occur only in the "Colors and Legend" menu, specifically when switching the color mode from Auto to Custom.
All other color configurations appear to work correctly in different contexts—for example, switching colors for KPIs or gauges (including sector definitions):
I haven’t spotted any errors in my JSON, but maybe I’m missing something:
really strange...
nov24 patch10 ?
I'm using the SaaS version of Qlik.
I tested a different set of colors for another customer, and everything worked perfectly. It seems like Qlik might be rejecting this particular color palette. 😕
i'm currently seeing the same issue when trying to use the 'Single Color' picker after selecting a custom theme. have you found a fix for the issue?
