I have this type of table.

How do I create a column that contains the difference between the values ​​of the column 2015 and the column values ​​in 2016?

I wish to create a column called Difference containing the subtraction of the current year (2016) - the year before (2015 ) .

And add another column to represent everything with a kpi ( smiling face or angry )

Sorry but I didn´t see that your question it was for QlikSense. I don´t Know how you can add a Smiley. But you can test this example.

1) year

2) the previous year

The year is selected by  the user from a filter box so that

could I define the current year based on what the person chooses?

Should I create a variable CURRENT_YEAR = "Year selected" and then previous_year CURRENT_YEAR = -1

What do you think about it?
