Data Modeling: Connecting various tables with a calendar
Hi,
i'm new in QlikSense and wanted to ask how i can connectt various tables which are created by a left keep, with a unique date field in a calendar. Every table is different but every table has a field named "Date". How can i connect this date fields with the unique date field in the calendar? Do I have to make one table out of the various tables?
You may need to create a link table, which will contain all the common fields between the tables. Another alternative is to concatenate the fact tables, creating a "Table Type" field to identify each one. Concatenating should be easier, but depending on the data model, it may not be the best option. I recommend researching this link table model.
