Data export error

Hi,

I just encoutered this error :

On an app, after I used slicers to obtain a number of around 820 000 rows, I selected the export as data option. But when after a while I got the link to download the file, when I clicked on the link I instead got the error message : "The requested resource cannot be found."

This is strange because I was indeed under the "1 048 566 rows per sheet" limit.

I checked the free space disk on the VM (we have Qlik Sense enterprise), and there was no shortage.

I also tried exporting data with far fewer rows, and it worked, so no rights problems.

While I get that it must come from the export volume, given my tests, I don't understand where exactly is the problem, given the fact that I was under the number of rows limit.

Any ideas on what I could check to identify the origin of the problem ?

Best regards,

Martin.

The objects have quite probably an own RAM restriction and there may also a timeout within the calculation or the current Qlik session. Possible are further network or environment settings which prevent the download from file > n Mb or applying further timeouts.

A lot of possibilities. Helpful may be monitor the download closely by looking on the task-manager and the download-folder and measuring the times - from working and not working exports and/or exporting the data not as Excel else as csv.

Thanks for the reply, I will check all the possibilities.

Meanwhile, the users will reduce the export volume.
