Exclude selection of a dimension using SET expression

Hi All,

I am new to Qliksense. I am trying to exclude as dimension selection in my expression.

It works fine in Qlikview but in Qlik Sense it shows 0.

Eg:

Sum({<Year=>}Sales)

Trying to exclude Year selection. But it is not working, if I select any values in Year it is reflection in the charts.

are you sure you have only one expression in your chart?

and the field name is exactly "Year"?

Yes, the field name is correct.

I tried copying the expression in text object as well. But no luck.

The Year Filter I have used was Calculated Dimension. I moved the calculation to scripting, it worked perfectly.
