Filter Range

Hello

I have a question, I 've been strugglin with.

So I have an excel file loaded to Qlik Sense Web, and I have these columns:

Price from ; Price To ; KM from ; KM to ; Year from ; Year to.

And I have the app all made but I am having a problem, with the filter in this case. When I choose KM from, for example I choose 23500 km and before I choose Km to for example 200000, it wont work it just gives me 23500 (KM from) ignoring all the other filters, I mean it does not connect somehow.

Is there any way to tell Qlik that I want from X km as a min and to as a max? I don't really know how to do these I am still new to SQL language and Qlik expecially still learning, but this is due tomorrow and I dont know what to do anymore.

Any help would be amazing thanks !

I don't understand how your data looks.

A car has one year - not a [Year from] and a [Year to] - and this year ought to be in one single field. And if you put this field in a filter pane, you can make a range search there. Click the magnifying glass, and type e.g. >=2017<=2020. Then you will select that range.

I did not add all the information there, I have an excel with dealers and each dealer has X amount of cars and in those X amount there are cars between 2010 and 2022 for example. Like they have from a old bmw 2001 to a brand new mercedes 2022 , or other dealer has only cars  between 2020 and 2022. all of that applies for KM and Price ranges.

I've tried that way with > and < and it works fine, but for example in KM I want to know if there is a way to click on for example 1 or type 100 and the app understanding that is starts there and then on the KM to type 10000 and it assumes that it is from 100 to 10000 range, in this case all dealers that have cars in that KM range show up.

I need to do this to year, price and km... do you have any suggestion?

Thank you for the reply!

So, the six fields (Price from, Price To, KM from, KM to, Year from, Year to) are per dealer? That would explain the range.

And when you click on 100 in [KM from], you want it to select all entries in [KM from] that are greater than 100, instead of just the one with 100? No, there is no easy way to do that.

The best solution would be to have the three parameters (Price, km, Year) per car, and not per dealer. But maybe you don't have that data?

I understand, well at least I understand that I have trouble because it really is complicated and I am new to the tool.. but in this case we are analysing what each dealer has in its company I attached a photo.

My stakeholder needs this to be user friendly, thus this complication on filters.

I will do some more research, but yes that is what I need when I click 100 it sellects all the above then if i do to KM to and do the same it selects all below. That would be perfect.

Thank you anyway, I have some new insights on this at least!
