Filter Sheet to Allow only one selection

Hi, 

I'd like to set my sheet-level default so that users can only select one serial_number at a time. I know there are field-level filters, but I'd like users to be able to select multiple serial_numbers elsewhere in the app. I only want a sheet-level filter here. What would be the best way to go about this?

You may consider creating another field called serial_number_one_selection, use this field for the particular sheet and apply only one selection
