Filter on part of a word
Hi all
I have a question: is it possible to search on a part of a word in Qlik Sense?
For example: when I want to search for 'Samsung', and I am typing a mistake like 'Amsung', it won't search for Samsung.
Is there any way to get around this?
Thank you all for the information!

You can use * as a wildcard. *amsung will search for any words ending in 'amsung', while *amsung* will search for any string that contains 'amsung' somewhere in it.

Yes, it's working. Thx. But that I already knew 😉
You still need to type * then, but is there a way to set this as default?

As far as I know, there is not. You could go vote / comment on this idea which suggests adding it as an option:
https://community.qlik.com/t5/Suggest-an-Idea/Default-Search-Mode-with-wildcards/idi-p/1611653
But given the idea is from 2019 and hasn't been implemented yet, I wouldn't hold my breath.
