Filters with large number to match to

Hi all,

I use qlik sense and am having trouble creating a filter which includes a large number of things to match to.

I have tried the following;

IF(Match([DIMENSION HERE],'NAME HERE','NAME HERE','NAME HERE'),'PARAMATER','PARAMATER')

However I am working off a list of 4,000 possible names and it won't let me do more than 400 odd.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking that maybe I need to set up some kind of master item as this list but I'm stuck.

May be do this in the script using a Mapping load?

Just do a temporary table and use exists() statement.

Something like

// Use a temporary file or so to get all the possible values you need and load it into this table.

_tmpTable:

Load [Dimension]

From [Whatever]

DataTable:

Load *

From [Whatever]

where exists([Dimension]).
