Gantt Data Point Deselection by clicking on data point

Is it functionally possible when I click on a data point on a gantt chart that it would deselect and remove it from view. 

 

Screenshot below the one i highlighted I would ideally like to click on it and when I do it would remove itself by view. How can I go about performing this feature.
