Geo-analytics Connector missing

Hi all,

I have recently installed Qlik Geo-analytics server and extensions on my QlikSense server , but I am not able to see Geo-analytics connector in Create connection button. Can anyone help me with this issue. I am using November 2017 version of QlikSense.

Hi,

This is an extension and not a connector per say.

Go into an application and press edit.

When you look left you should see "Custom Objects" and under there you should see a list of the extensions installed by GeoAnalytics.

May be, The Sense Server need a restart to detect new connectors. Don't forget to run the setup after importing the zip files in the QMC.

Is it really necessary to restart the server to identify the connector?

Restart Qliksense services and it will work

It's not necessary, but better, if you did that. Connector may appear.

Normally on any installation, to make the installation proper and set the connections between different areas or applications, we used to do Restart.
