Getting maximum Date data by each month in trend chart..??

I Need to get only maximum date of each month  data that can be showed in trend chart ...

Could anyone help with this problem..

FirstSortedValue(Aggr(Sum(Sales), Date), -Aggr(Date, Date))

It is not working in YTD,QTD Concept. When i select some month, it displays only the selected month data.
