How can I pull through the Dropdown label field to another expression label field?

Hi,

I have created a dashboard on which the user selects fixed values from a drop down named vReportMetric (Order count, order £, Unit count, etc) which then populates the measures on the dashboard according to selection.

How can I pull through the label that the user has selected as my measure label on the dashboard?

if I use   =vReportMetric  in my dashboard label expression I get the table column heading rather than the more user friendly dropdown label.

You can use that variable in caption instead
