How to combine the same model name within a field

I have some questions.

How to combine the same model name within a field.

ex) filed name : model

as is : a-1, a-2, b, c

to be : a, b, c

Sorry for my poor English skills.

Please give me advice.

NoConcatenate
Temp:
Load SubField(model,'-',1) as NewModel
Inline [
model
a-1
a-2
b
c
];

NoConcatenate
Temp1:
Load distinct NewModel
Resident Temp;

Drop table Temp;

Exit Script;
