How to derive dates from start dates and number of days

I am new to Qlik and would like to get an solution for my current problem.

I have a list of holidays taken by salesperson (screenshot and data file attached) :

Each transaction has a start date and holiday duration. I want to fill the start date to end date and associate with master calendar.

Ultimately, I want to know what is the number of holidays by territory by quarter.

I like the idea of hic   https://community.qlik.com/blogs/qlikviewdesignblog/2013/02/12/reference-dates but I do not how to mark the calendar for half-days.

Will using IntervalMatch give better results
