How to disable export to excel
Hi
Part of the security is to disable data populated in a table to be exported to excel files.
Any idea if this is possible and how ?

Hi Ziad,
It's possible using security rules.
The ExportAppData rule is the default rule. You can disable this rule and create your own, or disable wholesale.

Hi Ziad,
the rule is set up as an App rule. There is no capability to restrict export on specific objects. Perhaps sheets, but I don't think so.
I think it's only available at the app level for Governance purposes.

Can we set security rule for exprot data in excel just for specific app & Sheets.
For example
I have 5 Qlik Sense Apps
1)App1
2)App2
3)App3
4)App4
5)App5
I want to include export(excel) feature on just for one application (Apps 2)& will be applicable for just 1 sheets.
Apps 2 are having 2 sheets but export feaures is applicable for Sheet no 2.
Regards,
AS

Use like App_2462174-2982715-sjhf38272, App_jfhjwbf2174hjd-12587-21ury4gt, where part with symbols - is ID of an app. Or Condition with App_* = resourse.name = 'App1' or resourse.name = 'App2'
