How to enable the search bar?

I downloaded an example from the internet and I can see there is a search bar function in the "Analysis" Tab. Screenshot is as follows:

But when I create my own app, this menu bar does not appear. How to enable it?

Nevermind. I figure it out already. I just needs to click on the "Done" button to go back to the "View mode" and it will appear.
