KPI Indiactors if value like value

Hi,

I'm currently in the process of adding indicators to the KPIs. If the current value is higher than the previous year, an upward arrow should appear. If the value is lower, a downward arrow.

I entered the formula for the previous year as the limit. I use Round(XYZ) for both the current year and the previous year. However, Qlik takes the decimal places into account. Although the value for this year is, for example, 10 and for the last year is also 10, an arrow is displayed. In my opinion, if the value is the same, no indicator should be displayed at all.

Do you know what I'm doing wrong and can you help me?

Thanks for your answers. Today I found a somewhat simpler solution. I use Round first and then cut everything off.

Left(Round(Average_Age), 2)

This works and no indicator is used anymore.

Hi,

I think you should add 2 limits:

  • Lastyear - 1
  • Lastyear +1

Then in the two outer sections you can add the arrows. In the middle section (value = 10 in this case) you can leave the icon blank.

Hey, thank you.

I have now taken the previous year's value and the value from the current year. The arrow is still displayed even though both values match.

One possible solution is, When the prev year = this year just hide this kpi and show a similar kpi without indicator.
