“….This hourly process continues until the session ends, which can happen in three different ways:
The user logs out.
The user closes the browser (not just the tab).
The user is inactive longer than the timeout in the QMC. (Virtual proxy setting Session inactivity timeout (minutes), 30 minutes by default.)…”
So, if one of these happens, at the next session you will be consuming a new access pass? Further in another section, I read:
“…However, this time she logs out after 30 minutes and then logs in and out again a few minutes later to quickly verify some information. Since the connection to the server occurs within the same hour, only one login access pass is consumed…” – Does this “logs in & out” mean just “closing the tab”? Because it contradicts the first bullet point above.
Another question: If I understand correctly, the whole point is that you may close and open the Qlik tab within 60 minutes. But let’s say I have one access pass, open and use Qlik at 12:00-12:15, and close the tab. At 12:30, I open again, how many minutes left, 30 min or 45 min?
