Mashup Variables Not responding to filter

Hello everyone, 

I have a question regarding using Variable in mashup, i use app.variable.getContent function to display variable value 

in mashup page but it's not responding to filter ! although it's responding to filter in the sheet!

Can anyone please assist me in this ?
