Master Item measure needed changing

Hi,

I have a CHART that uses a measure which is a master item. When i try to edit it from the chart it gives me warning that it will break the link with master item. 
I am not sure how to check where all this measure is reused in the app, as i want this change to only effect this chart.

How to check the master item measure usage across the app?

Hi Suraj ,
If you want to change the master measure for a particular chart , unlink the master measure and change it. 
Unlinking the master measure , doesnot have effect on other charts using that same master measure .

No , it wont create new master item automatically .
