Merging columns in pivot table

Hi,

When I try to load a column supposed to show the gender of various people in a pivot table, Qlik Sense automatically divides it in two different columns, one for each gender (in the .csv file everything is in the same column).

I'd like to merge those columns to create a unique one with words and not numbers, like this :

GENDER

Woman

Man

Man

...

How could I do this ? Let me know if more details are needed.

If Gender was a row and not a column then I think that you would get what you want.

you should set GENDER dimension as row rather than column.
