Not able to connect to Microsoft SQL 2012 database installed on a remote desktop

Hi All,

I am using Qlik Sense Desktop on my windows 10 machine and need to integrated it with Microsoft SQL 2012 installed on remote server (with operating system as Microsoft Server 2012). I have the IP address of the remote server, login credentials of remote desktop, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Database & Table names.

Using OLE DB, when I test connection, it's successful but Load data is not loading database i.e. database name doesn't appear in the drop down.

Would appreciate if someone can point out the mistake?

Try doing a similar connection to excel. Might be your user has access to the server but not to SQl
