OR between filter pane [Qlik Sense]

Hi,

Do you know how to use an "OR" statement on an unique filter pane between (inlcuding) two data field ?

In other words, i want to filter by one value that can be in one field or another field or both.

Thanks for your answers 🙂

Hi Averb,

Hmm yes that is because my data is on the same row. So the selections are not cancelling each other out. But for you they are.

But you can try the action: Select possible values in a field.

The only thing is, when your selection is true in both cases and not on the same row. You are never going to get your solution...

hi,

You could use the Qlik Sense Button in combination with the Qlik Sense Input Variable.

Check my screenshots for how it works:

Then use the variable input for entering and click the button it will filter in both fields.

EDIT :

Hi,

Thanks for this answer

I think i succeed to make it work but when i use the button one filter override and delete the other. They seem to be mutually exclusive. That's why i need an "OR" condition to display all the data concerned.

To follow your screen exemple, any individual of my dataset can have at the same time "XYZ" in  "ABC" and "BBB" fields.

I wonder why in your exemple your two filters stay without kicking each other like mine...

Thanks,

Averb
