Qlik Sense Query Parameter

I would like your help determining feasibility please. Thank you in advance. (I thought I posted this but somehow it got lost. My apologies if this comes up in duplicate.)

Is it possible to create, and then pass, a query string parameter from one sheet to another?

To further explain what I'm asking:

A Hyperlink URL exists on a Sheet A (via text/image control) that ends in http://.....?OD="2015-06-07"

The hyperlink opens Sheet B (preferably in another stream), and selects the date value from a filter object on the sheet as soon below.
