Qlik Sense Upgrade Issue

Hi, 

We are using Qlik Sense 2023 version. Now we planned to upgrade to Qlik Sense 2024 version. 

While upgrading our Qlik Sense upgrade has failed. Due to some administration privilege's. 

So, I checked under

Computer Management > System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Groups.

• Qlik Sense Service Users
• Performance Monitor Users

Under this 2 groups, I added my Qlik Sense user name like (qlikprodadmin). 

Question: 

Shall I want to add my user also ? I'm running from the server and my username is (support1234). Whether shall i want to add my username support1234 in the above 2 groups? 

Please suggest.

during installation run set up as administrator & make sure during that your antivirus scan is off.

• Qlik Sense Service Users
• Performance Monitor Users

Shall I want to add my user ? 

Note: My user in the sense like i will use this user to login into the respective server.

not required. only Qlik Sense service account need to be add under administrative group for upgrade or installation.

@PrashantSangle While upgrade on our production server, unfortunately we faced the issue 

"running qlik sense services as a user without local administration during qlik sense upgrade"

please suggestion. 

Note: Already our Qlik Sense service account is part of admin group, Qlik Sense Service Users, Performance Monitor Users groups
