Qlik Sense task schedule failure notifications

We have couple tasks to get triggered on a timed basis. Is there a way to get notifications if job fails so that users can get notified ?

Hi Steve,

Thought of implementing the SMTP connector out of web connectors in qlik. Not able to find this particular connector however. All I found is by name "notification connector". Could you please confirm if these two are same?

I need to parse the log files as suggested by mto - "C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Scheduler\  <host_name>_TaskExecution_Scheduler.txt" and later, send mail  as applicable for the reload failure.

Hi Manoj, that's the one - I just called it what they should have named it. 

Writing this and sharing it up on the Community is still on my to-do list.  Just need more hours in a day...

Hi Michael, I have used this and it works fine for me but I am facing 1 challenge here.
By default, this alert is sent out once a day (24 hours gap). Is is possible to change it's frequency based on failure?
I tried to find it's answer in Qlik Branch but couldn't find any proper suggestion.
Let me know if you have any idea.
