Qlik View Personal Edition Issue

I was using personal edition of qlikview. I opened some old file of qlikview which was made using a license. It somehow opened in my laptop. Now while opening personal edition files, it is giving the attached error. How to open my files with personal edition now ?

Hi @VAGARWAL ,

It seems to be a .qvf file and not .qvw

Is this right ?

Hi @VAGARWAL ,

is it happening on any qvw and qvf file?
Is the version of QlikView you are using a recent one that supports the qvf format?

Let me guess (and this is just speculation based in my experience) @VAGARWAL   - are you using QlikView personal edition to edit qvw files which were used by Qlik Data Transfer? If that is the case QDT creates a copy of the file with qvf extension which will not open in QlikView. Did you have qvw files as well created?

Cheers

Yes, those files are Cloud Analytics apps. I haven't tested it, but it might be possible to redownload them once imported into the tenant.
