Qlik sense Pivot table measure column width

Hello All,

I have a pivot table as below, when the underlines are unfolded, the column width expanded too much.

It is good if the lines are folder.

is it possible to resize the column width somewhere?? or impossible?

thanks!

I absolutely agree. Qlikview worked wonderful these years. Why did they move to qliksense without providing full functionalities of qlikview 😞 there were many ways of customizations or cosmetic changes of qlik objects in Qlikview.

Highly disappointed with qliksense. Hopefully they will provide more properties in objects like we had in qlikview. Why do we always have to go for an extension!

Three whole YEARS after the initial post, this is still not fixed. Yes I consider it a bug or missing feature as it was present in QlikView. Bumping for visibility.

I really hate that my company has moved to QS, it makes my job far harder due to standard features like this missing. I don't believe this is acceptable for enterprise software, especially at the high cost.

Bumping this because this basic functionality is still not possible in Qlik Sense.

Can a Qlik employee please respond? The last such response was over 4 years ago.

Thanks,

Brock

Bumping again, since this is still not possible.

Are there any workarounds with css or something?

The workaround we use is Vizlib for any good visualisations. I think there was an update to QS pivot tables in the last few months that did fix some of these problems.

If you use the new pivot table that is in the dashboard bundle you can set the columns for any dimension or measure. This can be done by percentage, pixels and some other options.

The new pivot table will replace the old pivot table over time as it has both the functionalities of the old one as well as new improvements.

Patrik.

Hello Patrik,

thank you for your feedback. However, I have a few questions:

Why an extension? Why can't such a simple and basic feature be added directly to the standard pivot table? What would happen to our extension diagrams if this feature is later integrated into the main component?

Has anyone actually tested the version from the bundle? It doesn’t seem like it. I'm experiencing an issue with the width of the last column—the content isn’t fully visible, and the end user cannot see the complete numbers.
Also, has anyone tried reordering columns in a table with 20 columns? Just try it yourself and you’ll see how frustrating the experience is.

Honestly, it’s quite disappointing to see that with each new update, we face more new issues instead of gaining useful features.

Best regards,
Peyman

Just a quick note: You cannot export "the new pivot table from the dashboard bundle" as a PDF. This functionality is available with the standard pivot table.

Expanding the levels is not available too!
