Qvd

I Have a 15-20 GB Flat File coming yearly once or twice maximum.

How much would this be in size when converted to a QVD Format. ?

Is it reasonable to store this information on a Database table or in a QVD Format?

Thanks to suggest.

QVDs are compressed but its optimized for loading speed (into qlik)

check this https://community.qlik.com/t5/New-to-QlikView/what-is-compressing-factor-of-qvd/m-p/680047

if its being used in qlik a lot definitely convert to qvd. loading data will be much quicker.

storing in DB depends if its being used anywhere else
